SUSTAINABLE MASONRY GETS GREEN LIGHT AT CAT
An ambitious project , the scheme will create a state-of-the-art, three storey environmental education centre in Machynlleth, Wales. A selection of Lime Technology’s unfired, environmental and sustainable building materials have been specified to construct this highly eco-friendly structure.
This includes Sumatec™, a range of compressed earth and chalk blocks together with Tradical® Hemcrete®, a cast in situ lime and hemp walling system that can help to combat CO2 emissions. These will both be rendered using Lime Technology’s hydraulic lime render, Limetec.
